Constructor Detail

ValuePanel

public ValuePanel(JPanel parent,
                  String identifier)

Constructor for a ValuePanel, with the String identifier for the datatype supported by this ValuePanel. The string is used as the ID of a card within a cardlayout as well. Note that this abstract class does not set a LayoutManager for the JPanel.

Parameters:

identifier - the URI identifier for the datatype this panel supports.

setEditable

public void setEditable(boolean editable)

Sets the editable state of this panel. This should be overridden to set the editable features of the class, though super(boolean) should be still called to set the member variable m_editable.

isEditable

public boolean isEditable()

Returns true if this panel is editable.

getID

public final String getID()

Returns the datatype identifier of this ValuePanel.

clear

public abstract void clear()

Clears the value of this ValuePanel's content.

setValue
